Sanitarinės higienos priemonės yra šios: karių asmeninės higienos taisyklių laikymasis; karinių vienetų veiksmų (išdėstymo) rajonų tinkamos sanitarinės būklės palaikymas; teritorijos, vandens šaltinių, maisto produktų sanitarinė kontrolė. Kovos veiksmų sąlygomis laikomasi asmens higienos taisyklių, tinkamai organizuojama mityba ir aprūpinama vandeniu, šalinami iš karinių vienetų išdėstymo rajonų nešvarumai ir atliekos, įrengiami lauko tualetai.
